In 2013, the Senate passed a comprehensive immigration reform bill. It included the DREAM Act, which would provide lawful permanent resident status to eligible DACA recipients. It passed the Senate by a vote of 68 to 32, and one of the “yea” votes was from Sen. John Hoeven. The bill never became law because the House did not vote on it.
Please call or visit Sen. Hoeven’s office today to ask whether he will vote for the DREAM Act or a similar bill, such as Lindsay Graham’s BRIDGE Act, today. As his constituents, we are entitled to know where he stands on this.
