It’s week #6 of our campaign against this administration’s nomination for SCOTUS and this week we have two actions. The confirmation hearing will start on September 4 and it is imperative we make ourselves heard.
EVENT NOTICE FOR SUNDAY: Attend the Unite for Justice rally hosted by Indivisible Fargo-Moorhead on Sunday, August 26, at 12:00 PM at the Fargo Civic Center Plaza. This is a national day of action against Kavanaugh’s nomination. Let’s represent our area and show the nation that Fargo-Moorhead has a voice too!
ACTION: Keep calling, emailing, and writing your senators to vote NO on Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Brett Kavanaugh has received a cooler public reception than nearly every nominee for the last four administrations, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. Women are a driving force behind the tepid response, with fewer than three in 10 saying Kavanaugh ought to be confirmed. Over 70% of those polled say Kavanaugh should not go on to the Supreme Court. Furthermore, a recent poll by The Wall Street Journal found that 71% of American voters believe that Roe v. Wade should remain in place. The only nominee who has received a lower approval score was Robert Bork, and he wasn’t confirmed.
Tell your senators that Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination is “too unpopular” and “too political” to go forward. We are tired of Supreme Court nominees coming with agendas.
Make your voices heard! Tell you senators what needs to be done for our country and our future! Call, write, fax, email, and visit their offices! Attend the rally on Sunday! MAKE NOISE!
Go to their Facebook pages and Twitter feeds to make your voices heard. MAKE NOISE!!!
